Reservations

Reservations are required for any operational days to be your stay comfortable.

  • Rooms are all shared room. Most of them are 8 people dormitories(mixed).
  • We will keep each place for you and your accompanies upon reservations.
    If you were not sure how many people in your group, we could not accept your reservation.
  • Please note that the extra ¥3,000 will be charged for walk-in guests or reservations on the day.
Phone Reservation Availability

Before making a reservation…

  • Please plan to arrive by 5:00 PM for your safety.
    Late arrival may be dangerous, and we may not be able to accommodate you.
    If you are delayed, please contact us as soon as possible.
    If you do not arrive without notice, we may initiate a search.
  • Please make a reservation only if your plans are confirmed.
    Uncertain bookings may prevent other hikers from making a reservation. If your plans change, please be sure to contact us.

How to reserve

Reservations can be made online or by phone.

Online: Available only for stays from July 1 to October 25 and can be booked up to 2 months in advance with limited availability.

A credit card guarantee is required. Unlike phone reservations, cancellation fees apply earlier, so please check the cancellation policy before booking.

Phone: Available throughout the entire season, starting 1 month before your stay date.

For example, if you wish to stay on August 11, you can call us from July 11. If your stay is on May 31, July 31, or October 31, reservations open on the 30th of the previous month.

  • For staying between April 27 and May 26, the reservation will open on April 26 at 7:00AM.
  • Reservations for groups of 25 or more are NOT accepted during the busy season.

Cancellation Policy

Online reservation:

  • Up to 60 days before arrival: No charge
  • 59–40 days before arrival: 10%
  • 39 days to 1 day before arrival: 30%
  • Same-day cancellation or no-show: 100%

Reservation by phone:
Cancellation after 5:00 PM (JST) on the day before arrival: ¥11,000 per person

  • An accommodation tax will be charged from June 1, 2026. ¥200 per person per night will be added to your stay.
  • For safety reasons, we cannot accommodate infants. If you are traveling with infants, please consider staying in the Kamikochi area.
  • All rooms are shared. We cannot accept requests for specific sleeping spaces (such as upper or lower bunks).
  • Meals for children are the same as for adults.
  • Packed lunch is available for ¥1,800.
    (Assorted sweet pastries, a jelly drink, a snack bar, and cheese.)
